The New 2011 Altima sedan receives the biggest update for this year:
It receives an increase in size, updating from a 4.3-inch display to a 6.5-inch touch-screen unit. Nissan’s Hard Drive Navigation System now includes the following: advanced map data with speed limit advisories, Bluetooth Streaming Audio, Zagat restaurant guide, XM NavTaffic and XM NavWeather, an RCA input for auxiliary audio/video connectivity, and a DVD player.
A new Bose audio system that features a standard 4.3 inch color display, 9-speakers, USB port and iPod connectivity, Bluetooth hands-free calling and Nissan’s RearView Monitor system is also available on the new 2011 Altima sedan.
All New Altima sedans come with a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) that delivers power in one constant smooth line.

The new 2011 Altima coupes comes with a choice of either a six-speed manual transmission or the Continuously Variable Transmission (CTV). Two engine choices for both coupe and sedan are available with either a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with 175-horsepower and 180 pounds-feet of torque or a 3.5-liter V6 engine with 270-horsepower and 258 pounds-feet of torque.
Unlike the sedan, the new Altima coupe receives unique exterior styling with different grille and lights, new hood, grille and front bumpers that are joined by new colors. The Altima coupe is also shorter in length and height.
Standard on all Altima Coupes include standard 4-wheel, 4-channel, 4-sensor Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD).
Features of the New 2011 Altima Hybrid:
The New 2011 Nissan Altima Hybrid is a four-door sedan that is powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine paired with an electric motor. The 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine delivers an impressive 158-horsepower with 162 pounds-feet of torque. The 650-volt electric motor produces 40-hp with 199 pounds-feet of torque and provides some acceleration at low speeds.
The four-cylinder gasoline engine turns off to save gas when the vehicle comes to a stopping point. Rather than belt-driven, the air-conditioning compressor is electric and can blow in cold air even with the engine turned off.
Standard exterior features of the New Altima Hybrid include power mirrors, dual exhaust, standard 16-inch alloy wheels, and 16-inch alloy wheels. Optional features come with heated mirrors, an automatic headlamps, rear spoiler, and power sunroof.
The 2011 Nissan Altima Hybrid is equipped with safety features such as dual front, dual front-side, and two-row side curtain airbags with active front head restraints. Antilock brakes as well as Nissan’s Vehicle Dynamic Control and traction control are also available to help avoid accidents.
